    Emotional Intelligence

    Presented by Mark Altman

Decades of behavioral decision research has consistently shown that emotions, more than any other contributing factor, are what motivate us to act. Every decision we make, every choice to act or not act is determined by our intention to manage our feelings in one way or another, to either feel better or to avoid feeling badly. Emotion is the single pivot point that determine how well you know yourself, how well you deal with all that happens to you, and how well you deal with others. Developing higher levels of “Emotional Intelligence” has been proven to be the single most powerful thing you can do to advance your career, professional and personal relationships, and overall happiness. Thrive through building the skill set, toolset and mindset to learn self-knowledge, self-control, how to understand others and build trusting, empowering, mutually beneficial and productive relationships.

    This session will focus on:

    • Self-Awareness
    • Self-Regulation
    • Internal Motivation
    • Empathy
    • Social Skills

This program is approved for 1.25 PDCs for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM and 1.25 General HRCI recertification credits.
