    3. Complete Contact Information, click Continue
    4. Under "Available Tickets", click Add
    5. Confirm name, company, and e-mail on pop-up window, click Add
    6. Enter Coupon Code FirstHRMAmeeting then click Apply to waive guest fee (Note: This discount does not apply to the Annual Meeting held in June)
    7. Click Continue to complete registration


    Active Members: Sign into the Member Area Login > Go to View My Order History > Select the meeting you wish to cancel from the list > Click the Request Refund button (aka Cancel button) located on the bottom of the page > Click "Ok" to confirm

    Guests/Non-Active MembersCLICK HERE to notify us that you need to cancel a meeting registration. Please be sure to include the meeting date and title in the comment section. If you need a refund, one will be issued to you.

    In the event of inclement weather, if Worcester Public Schools are closed, our meeting will be cancelled.  If Worcester Public Schools have a delayed opening we will only keep the lunch meetings scheduled.  Breakfast meetings would be cancelled due to school opening delays. We will make every effort to notify you by e-mail and post to the website, our Facebook page and LinkedIn group if we need to cancel.

    The Washington Outlook for Government Policy

    Presented by Bob Carragher, VP, State Affairs, SHRM

    As SHRM’s Senior State Affairs Advisor since May of 2006, Bob has been responsible for coordinating SHRM’s member advocacy and state legislative affairs operations.  A seasoned government relations professional with over 25 years experience in both the public and private sectors, Bob began his career as a personal staff member to U.S. Senator Sam Nunn (D-GA).  He later served as a legislative liaison for a national labor law firm representing clients before Congress and the Executive Branch. 

    He has also managed the government relations and member advocacy programs of two business trade associations representing the automotive aftermarket and the steel service center industries.  In addition, he has represented various other trade associations and Fortune 500 companies in Washington on a range of issues, including labor law developments and tax and international trade matters. 

    Bob Carragher is a graduate of the University of Rochester in Upstate New York with a BA in American History.
