Student Partnership
We would like to introduce you to an excellent opportunity for students interested in the Human Resources Area. The Human Resources Management Association of Central Massachusetts (HRMA) offers a Student Partnership program.
This program offers students networking opportunities with HR professionals from various professions. Additional details are listed below.
About HRMA
Founded in 1946, the Human Resources Management Association of Central Massachusetts, Inc. (“HRMA”) is one of New England’s strongest and most vital human resource organizations.
The group is comprised of over 200 practitioners and consultants who are committed to developing their skills and advancing the human resource profession. HRMA’s goal is to foster adherence to higher standards of performance and greater professionalism in all aspects of the human resource profession.
HRMA’s Commitment to the Student
HRMA will assign a Chapter Mentor to assist the student in navigating meetings and committees and to be available as a resource. HRMA members may also be able to assist the student in securing an HR internship.
Student Expectations
The student agrees to attend at least three membership meetings during HRMA’s program year (September through May). The meetings will be remote or held at the Worcester Technical High School, 1 Officer Manny Familia Way, Worcester, on the second Thursday of each month, either from 8:30am - 10:30am or 11:30am - 1:30pm, and a meal is provided. Students are expected to dress professionally (business casual) for the meetings.
Advantages for Students
