| HR Certification Committee |
| Legislative Affairs Committee |
Provides HRMA members with information regarding pending or recently-enacted changes in State and Federal law which have an impact on human resources management. The Committee chairperson reports on new legislation as appropriate. The Legislative Affairs Committee is also responsible for alerting HRMA members to call or write their legislators when potential changes in HR-related law threaten an adverse effect on area employers. |
| Membership Committee |
Increases awareness of HRMA among human resources practitioners in the Central Massachusetts area. Informs non-member practitioners of HRMA’s purpose, its goals and the advantages of membership through a combination of mailings, referrals, member contests, and/or other methods of the Committee’s design and choice. |
| Programming & Sponsorship Committee |
Plans effective programs for monthly HRMA meetings (September-May). The Program & Sponsorship Committee’s responsibilities include reservation of restaurant facilities, menu selection and determination of meal fee for each meeting, engagement of speakers, and confirmation of all arrangements well before each meeting date. |

Fully develops this technology to improve services and communication for our members. |
| Workforce Readiness Committee |
Works with community groups and social service agencies to provide programs that complement and enhance existing services for job placement. These include mock interviewing, tips on completing employment applications, and preparing for an interview. This is the community service arm of HRMA - reaching out to help our community by using our HR knowledge and experience. |
