| HR Certification Committee |
| Legislative Affairs Committee |
Provides HRMA members with information regarding pending or recently-enacted changes in State and Federal law which have an impact on human resources management. The Committee chairperson reports on new legislation as appropriate. The Legislative Affairs Committee is also responsible for alerting HRMA members to call or write their legislators when potential changes in HR-related law threaten an adverse effect on area employers. |

Increases awareness of HRMA among human resources practitioners in the Central Massachusetts area. Informs non-member practitioners of HRMA’s purpose, its goals and the advantages of membership through a combination of mailings, referrals, member contests, and/or other methods of the Committee’s design and choice. |
| Programming & Sponsorship Committee |
Plans effective programs for monthly HRMA meetings (September-May). The Program & Sponsorship Committee’s responsibilities include reservation of restaurant facilities, menu selection and determination of meal fee for each meeting, engagement of speakers, and confirmation of all arrangements well before each meeting date. |

The Workforce Readiness Committee serves as the community service arm of HRMA, partnering with local organizations to advance job readiness and skills development. By leveraging the real-world HR expertise of HRMA members, the committee delivers practical guidance that complements existing workforce services and helps bridge the gap between employers and job seekers—strengthening workforce outcomes and promoting economic wellness across the region. |
